Ingredients:


  • 500g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (for brightness)


Preparation


  1. Set the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with melted butter, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well coated.

  3. Spread the sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet.

  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon juice for extra flavor.

  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm as a delicious side dish!
