Traditional Dark Christmas Fruit Cake
Traditional Dark Christmas Fruit Cake – Rich, Moist & Brandy-Infused
A Timeless Christmas Tradition, Lovingly Handmade in Our Homestead Kitchen
Celebrate the festive season with our beautifully rich, moist and traditional Dark Christmas Fruit Cake, lovingly prepared in small batches at My Creative LifeStyle.
Made with a generous selection of dried fruits, soaked in brandy for 72 hours, our Christmas cakes are carefully blended with real butter, dark brown sugar, aromatic spices and black treacle to create their distinctive dark colour and wonderfully rich flavour.
Each cake is slowly baked using traditional methods, carefully wrapped and allowed to mature over several weeks. This traditional maturation process allows the fruit, brandy and spices to develop a beautifully balanced, deep and indulgent flavour.
Choose Your Perfect Christmas Cake
Traditional Plain Christmas Fruit Cake
Enjoy the timeless simplicity of a traditional dark Christmas fruit cake, without any additional toppings. Rich, moist and generously packed with brandy-soaked fruit, this classic version is perfect for those who appreciate an authentic, old-fashioned Christmas cake.
Luxury Fruit & Nut Topping with Apricot Brandy Glaze
For an extra-special festive finish, choose our beautifully decorated Christmas cake, topped with a generous selection of dried fruits and nuts, finished with a glossy apricot and brandy glaze.
This elegant topping adds additional flavour, texture and festive appeal, making it a wonderful centrepiece for your Christmas table or a thoughtful homemade gift.
Please note: The luxury fruit and nut topping with apricot brandy glaze is available at an additional fee.
The Art of Traditional Christmas Cake Maturation
Unlike ordinary cakes, traditional dark Christmas fruit cakes benefit from being prepared well in advance.
Our cakes are allowed to mature for approximately 8–12 weeks, giving the rich ingredients time to settle and their flavours to develop.
During this period, the brandy, fruit and spices gradually combine to create the distinctive depth of flavour and moist texture associated with a traditional Christmas fruit cake.
It is this patience and attention to detail that make our Christmas cakes so special.
